The Betar World Leadership is the central co-ordinating body which connects the many Betar branches throughout the world.The World Leadership in the current period is striving, via its shlichim, and via the local leaderships throughout the Gola, to continue the united and determined campaign to maintain Jerusalem as the united and eternal capital of the Jewish People. Within the framework of this campaign, the World Leadership is organizing a wide variety of activities. Aliyah to Israel represents the fulfilment of the Betar idea in the Gola, and each year the movement absorbs hundreds of Olim, who go on to join the IDF and continue their activities in the movement in Israel.

Questions and Answers Because sovereign countries have rights to blockade countries/areas that are perceived as a threat to its citizens and territory. Any foreign element that would try to break that blockade would rightfully be prevented to reach the blockaded territory. (see below) What actually is Gaza? It is a territory controlled by Hamas - an organization internationally recognized as a terrorist body and banned by the Western World. They have launched hundreds of missiles against Israeli civilian population, used their own population as human shields, killed Palestinians in Gaza because they belong to the wrong camp - in short the western dream of a 'liberal democracy'. What does that say about their human rights record, about their value for human life? Or should they be commended for being good in "talking the Western talk" because they now that there are those who are ready to listen? |

Betarim celebrated Jerusalem Day along with thousands of Israelis. They marched, visited the Menchem Begin center, and joined the celebration at the wailing wall. Jerusalem Day is a national holiday marking the liberation of the city and its reunification after the Six Day war. The day is held on the 28th of Iyar (אייר) the day Israeli soldiers liberated the eastern part of the city in 1967. |

Betar Senior Seminar is an amazing chance for youth to learn more about Israel, leadership and Judaism in a fun and interesting way. This is a chance for the older chanichim of Betar to bond together in a unique environment whilst allowing further development and growth of the individual. On this seminar each year level will be concentrating on a specific area of interest. Year 10s begin leadership training, year 11s focus on increasing their education levels, year 12s begin their Shnat journey and Mitkadmim begin their advanced leadership and education training. |

 Tel Chai! World Betar will be running an Israel Advocacy Seminar from Thursday the 10th of June to Sunday the 13th for all Betarim coming to Israel to attend the Zionist Congress. The course is designed for Roshi Hanagot and for position holders in Betar and will include a range of speakers from Knesset members to Political Analysts.
