The Betar Movement is a world Zionist youth movement founded 85 years ago by Ze'ev Jabotinsky. Betar members played important roles in the creation of Israel. Today the Betar Movement is active in many world branches and is involved in Jewish and Zionist activism.

 A new chapter in Betar Turkey has recently started by Eitan Behar of World Betar and Yigal Mizrahil, a member of Betar in Turkey who recently made Aliyah to Israel and is involved with Betar.TOC - Turkish Olim Club was founded in order to gather the new Turkish Olim/immigrants to Israel, get them involved with Betar, teach them Zionism, Judaism and communal service and open the gates for those who need help in their first years in Israel. On October 31st a memorial service for those who were killed in the terrorist attack in both Beit Yisrael and Neve Shalom Synagogues in Istanbul in 2003, in which one of the Turkish Betar members got killed, took lace at the Mahazike Torah Synagogue in Bat Yam. Over 30 members of the TOC Betar Tagar organization took part of the service ked by Rabbi Elyahu Kohen.
