The Betar Movement is a world Zionist youth movement founded 85 years ago by Ze'ev Jabotinsky. Betar members played important roles in the creation of Israel. Today the Betar Movement is active in many world branches and is involved in Jewish and Zionist activism.

Betar Cis Activities

Updates from Betar branches in Moldova and Ukraine.

A few weeks ago the Maoz in Odessa, Ukraine, was re-opened after it has been closed for some time. This is an exciting event for us in Betar as Odesa is the birth place of Ze'ev Jabotinsky. It's a symbolic event in the 85 anniversary of Betar.
In a few weeks a Zionist seminar will take place in Kiev, the capital of Ukraine. Betar members take a major role in organizing the seminar. In December the Betarim are having a big event dedicated to the 85 anniversary of Betar.
In Moldova about 100 Betarim participated in Betar Machane (camp). New Mefakdim (heads of Betar branches) were nominated during the Machane.
